PHYLLIS ANN HANNESON (nee ISFELD) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phyllis Hanneson, age 62, after a hard and brief battle with cancer on Monday, September 6, 2010 at the Brandon Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 42 years, Bill; sons Sean (Adelle) and Lee (Billie); grandchildren Alix, Jordan, Camryn and Reese; step-grandson Tristan and many cherished friends. Phyllis was born June 10, 1948 in Winnipeg, MB. She was raised in the Hollywood District of Langruth where she attended elementary school and later Langruth High School. Phyllis married Bill on August 3, 1968 and together they farmed in the Lakeland District and raised their two children. Phyllis devoted her life to her husband, sons and grandchildren, making many trips to fields, rinks and pools. She enjoyed curling, camping, crafting and was especially passionate about painting, making many friends along the way. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Langruth. Interment will follow in the Langruth Cemetery. Everyone is invited to a family and friend gathering at the Langruth Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
